Katelynne Abbott, FNP-C
Katelynne Abbott has been a nurse practitioner with MFM Health, formerly Middleton Family Medicine, since 2008. She specializes in women’s health and gynecology, caring for patients from adolescence and the reproductive years through perimenopause, menopause, and beyond.
She has a particular interest in menopause care, including support for hot flashes, sleep and mood changes, vaginal and urinary symptoms, sexual health concerns, and other hormonal changes that may affect quality of life. Katelynne works with each patient to review treatment and lifestyle options and develop an individualized care plan. Her additional clinical interests include preventive gynecologic care, contraception, menstrual concerns, and cervical health.
Katelynne received both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Regis College. She completed colposcopy training through the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology and is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
She lives on the North Shore with her husband, Tim, their two children, Charlotte and Drew, and dog. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping, and decorating.

Kate was excellent. She answered every question I had and was very efficient. I tend to get nervous at the doctor and my questions often are dismissed by providers, but I didn’t have this experience with Kate. It was clear to me that she cares for her patients, uses science and evidence based information to answer questions, and leaves no stone unturned. This is hard to find in my experience and I would highly recommend seeing her for any medical issue.
