Ed Lyons joined MFM in 2020 as a Mental Health Counselor. He began practicing in 2011 working primarily as an outpatient counselor. He has experience working with many community outreach programs through the Department of Mental Health. Ed has additional training in drug and alcohol addiction counseling and has worked with substance abuse treatment programs. Additionally, he works with clients on anxiety and stress management, depression, body image concerns, self esteem and life transitions. Ed has an undergraduate psychology degree from UMass Boston and a master’s degree in mental health counseling from Cambridge College.
