Nopporn (Nop) Thangthaeng, AGPCNP-BC, CDCES
Nopporn (Nop) Thangthaeng, PhD, AGPCNP-BC, CDCES, brings a unique blend of scientific expertise and compassionate care to our Endocrinology team. With over 15 years of experience as a biomedical research scientist, she transitioned into nursing as a Research Study Nurse at the Diabetes Research Center at Massachusetts General Hospital. She went on to earn her Master of Science from UMass Chan Medical School in 2024 and is on track to complete her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2025.
Nop is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, and an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
She lives on the North Shore with her husband and their two cats. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening and cooking and is fluent in both English and Thai.

Nop was extremely knowledgeble courteous professional and after hearing me patiently gave very very good advice to manage my life style on controlling my type 2 diabetes, she reviewed my past records and gave very good advice.
I’ve seen a lot of clinicians in my time and Nop has to be one of the most thorough and kind practitioners I’ve ever seen. She explains everything and does not rush me. She’s understanding and helpful.
